As I designer we all suffer blurry vision, red eyes, eyes strain, headache, stress, etc. It is a common thing which is faced by every designer's eyes when their eyes get tired from intense use, such as while driving long distances or staring at computer screens and other digital devices.
Eyestrain can be annoying. But it usually isn't serious and goes away once you rest your eyes or take other steps to reduce your eye discomfort. In some cases, signs and symptoms of eyestrain can indicate an underlying eye condition that needs treatment.
Eventually results in a bad mood and makes you less efficient towards work thus failure of fulfilling deadlines.
HOW TO KNOW YOU HAVE EYES STRAIN?
- Sore, tired, burning or itching eyes
- Watery or dry eyes
- Blurred or double vision
- Headache
- Sore neck, shoulders or back
- Increased sensitivity to light
- Difficulty concentrating
- Feeling that you cannot keep your eyes open

What's a 20- 20 Rule?
Take adequate breaks in EVERY 20 MINS for 20 SECS
it takes about 20 Secs for your eyes to completely relax. While you’re resting your eyes, it’s also a good idea to get up and grab a drink of water to keep yourself hydrated. If your body is hydrated, your eyes will be as well.
If you wear contact lenses, you may experience worsened symptoms of dryness and irritation. Try giving your eyes a break from time to time by wearing glasses.
